TRANSFORMATION

Someone in my family died last night

I could not recognize him by sight

Was it the Hermit or the Priest?

Whoever it was, will he be missed?

Someone in my family died last night

What ailed him, what kind of blight?

Was it the dark road I chose to walk,

Somehow caused his spirit to balk?

Someone in my family died last night

Only the pale new moon for light,

Two or three, attended his deathbed,

Sponging brow, till he was dead.

Someone in my family died tonight

Grieve a little, I know you might;

But no doubt, someone inherits his energy

Someone in harmony, in synergy.
